ABOUT ROBBIE
Robbie was born and (mostly) raised in central Texas, USA, but currently, resides in the west of Ireland. Her practice revolves around observational and traditional painting and drawing techniques, using representation to investigate the objects and people around her. These careful techniques are used to capture moments of storied depth and sensitivity to create quiet, delicate, contemplative spaces.

Education:
Robbie graduated with honors from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in 2009 with a BFA in Illustration. Later in her career, she decided to dedicate her practice to traditional oil painting and studied under the ARC Atelier's system in Italy and France from 2015 to 2018. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. at the Burren College of Art in Ireland to explore representational painting as a vehicle for understanding and ameliorating death anxiety.
